Your guide leads you to iconic landmarks such as the White Elephant Saloon, where the spirits of cowboys and gamblers are said to linger long after closing time. Stockyard Crime TOURs

Since the early 1900s the Fort Worth Stockyards has been well-known for cattle and cowboys, but underneath the cowboy hats and friendly Texas grins is a third C, crime. The Cowtown Winery True Crime tour takes guests on a guided walking tour throughout the Stockyards.

Though the history of the Stockyards dates back 100 years and is filled with outlaw crimes, this tour incorporates true crime stories from across the century including Fred Rouse and the Armour Swift strike of the 1920’s to the gang violence in dark alleyways of the 1980’s.

The tour leaves promptly on time, so allow plenty of time to park and arrive at the winery.

The True Crime tour will shed light on some of the darkest moments in Stockyards history and reveal that often fact is more terrifying then fiction.
